1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions apply when you use this website, request a quote, book an appointment or purchase services from Think Again Laser Clinic. They operate together with your individual quote, treatment consent, any Complete Care Commitment agreement and the conditions of an accepted promotion. If a more specific written agreement contains different conditions, that agreement takes priority for that purchase.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

2. Who we are

Think Again Laser Clinic (ABN 82 942 965 619) provides specialist laser tattoo removal services at its Australian clinics.

3. Definitions

In these terms, Think Again, we, us and our mean Think Again Laser Clinic. Client and you mean the person receiving or purchasing services. Treatment means a laser tattoo removal service. Covered tattoo means the tattoo identified in an accepted Complete Care Commitment. CCC means the Complete Care Commitment described below.

4. Services and clinical suitability

We provide laser tattoo removal, cosmetic tattoo removal and tattoo fading for cover-up preparation. Treatment is subject to an individual assessment and informed consent.

We may refuse, postpone, modify or discontinue treatment where a clinician considers treatment unsafe, medically or clinically inappropriate, or inconsistent with proper healing. This may include pregnancy or breastfeeding, recent sun exposure, an active skin condition, relevant medication, illness, an adverse skin response, failure to follow pre-treatment or aftercare instructions, or failure to disclose relevant information.

5. Age and consent

You must be at least 18 years old to consent to treatment independently. A person under 18 requires written consent from a parent or legal guardian and must be accompanied as required by Think Again and applicable law. We may decline to treat a person under 18 even where consent is supplied.

6. Client disclosure obligations

You must provide complete and accurate information about medical conditions, medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding, allergies, skin conditions, prior treatment, recent sun or UV exposure, changes to the tattoo or treatment area and any other matter that may affect treatment safety or results. You must promptly update the clinic if this information changes.

7. Results, risks and treatment intervals

Results vary. Tattoo response can be affected by ink colour and composition, tattoo depth and application, tattoo age, skin type, immune response, health, scarring, treatment interval, treatment history and aftercare. No fixed number of sessions, completion date or biological response is promised unless expressly stated in writing.

Potential effects include pain, redness, swelling, blistering, infection, temporary or permanent pigment change, texture change, incomplete clearance and scarring. Pre-existing scarring, pigmentation and texture may become more visible as ink clears and are not caused by Think Again merely because they become visible during treatment.

Treatment intervals are determined by the treating clinician based on healing, skin response, tattoo characteristics and clinical safety. Treatment will not be provided earlier than the interval approved by the clinician.

8. Pricing and quotes

All Australian consumer prices are stated in Australian dollars and include GST. No additional GST is added at payment.

Published prices are starting prices for tattoos within the stated size category. The final price may be higher depending on exact dimensions, location, ink density, colours, complexity and other treatment factors. Exact pricing is confirmed after a free assessment.

Unless stated otherwise, a quote remains valid for 30 days. A quote is accepted when the client accepts it in writing and pays the required appointment payment, package price or CCC instalment.

Once accepted and paid, the agreed price is protected for the treatment option purchased. General price increases do not change it. A price may be re-quoted where more ink is added, the tattoo, treatment area, treatment objective or included services materially change, or a genuine human error is identified. Any revised price must be disclosed and accepted before treatment proceeds.

9. Payment options

Clients may choose pay per session, purchase four treatments with a 15% discount, or enter an eligible Complete Care Commitment. Think Again accepts major credit and debit cards, EFTPOS and, when available, Afterpay. Eligible clients may also apply for finance through LoanOptions.ai.

Afterpay, LoanOptions.ai and participating lenders are independent third-party providers. Approval, eligibility, spending limits, credit assessment, repayments, fees and lending conditions are controlled by the relevant provider. Think Again does not guarantee approval. A service may be temporarily unavailable because of provider or technical issues.

10. Four-treatment packages

A four-treatment package applies only to the named client and nominated tattoo and provides a 15% discount against the applicable per-session prices. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, it cannot be transferred to another person. If a refund is required by law, treatments already supplied and any applicable discount adjustment may be taken into account.

11. Complete Care Commitment

The Complete Care Commitment is an agreed treatment program directed toward the removal objective recorded in the client’s written CCC agreement. Eligibility, the covered tattoo, price, payment schedule and removal objective must be confirmed in writing.

CCC purchases of $5,000 or less are payable in full before treatment begins. Where the agreed price exceeds $5,000, 50% is payable at the first treatment and the remaining 50% at the second treatment, unless an approved finance arrangement or different written payment schedule applies.

The CCC does not guarantee a particular number of sessions, completion date or individual biological response. Treatment continues only while it remains clinically appropriate and the client complies with the CCC and these terms.

CCC client obligations

• Follow all written pre-treatment and aftercare instructions.
• Attend at clinician-approved intervals and keep the clinic informed of any extended break.
• Promptly document and immediately report unexpected skin responses, injury, blistering, infection, pigmentation change, scarring or other complications.
• Do not add ink to, materially alter or have another provider treat the covered tattoo.
• Pay all amounts when due and keep contact and health information current.

Having the covered tattoo treated by another provider results in immediate disqualification from CCC. CCC may also be terminated for material non-payment, material aftercare non-compliance, unreported skin damage or adverse response, an extended unexplained treatment break, added ink, material non-disclosure, unsafe conduct or another material breach. Think Again may rely on clinical observations, treatment records, photographs, communications and client disclosures when assessing compliance.

If CCC ends, future treatment reverts to the applicable standard per-session price. Amounts already paid are not refundable except where required by the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Appointment payments, cancellations and attendance

A $50 appointment payment may be required to secure a consultation or treatment appointment. Where applicable, it is credited toward treatment.

An appointment may be cancelled or rescheduled without charge with at least 48 hours notice. With less than 48 hours notice, repeated rescheduling or non-attendance, the $50 payment may be forfeited or a fee of up to $50 may apply. Genuine exceptional circumstances may be considered at Think Again’s discretion, subject always to rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Late arrival may shorten the available appointment or require rescheduling where safe treatment cannot be completed.

13. Promotions

Think Again may introduce, change or withdraw promotions at any time. A promotion is available only while actively advertised and may be withdrawn before acceptance. Once accepted and paid, its stated conditions apply. Promotions cannot be exchanged for cash or combined with another offer unless expressly stated. Essential eligibility, clinic, treatment and expiry conditions shown with an advertisement form part of these terms.

14. Price Beat Guarantee

A Price Beat request must be supported by a current written quote from an eligible Australian tattoo removal provider for a genuinely comparable service. The quote must relate to the same client, tattoo, treatment area and treatment objective and must be capable of verification. Differences in technology, clinician assessment, inclusions, location, package conditions, promotions or service scope may mean an offer is not comparable. Think Again may verify the quote and will confirm eligibility and any revised price in writing before acceptance.

15. Aftercare and adverse responses

You must follow all written aftercare instructions and contact the clinic promptly about an unexpected or worsening response. Seek urgent medical assistance where appropriate. Failure to follow aftercare may affect healing, safety, results and, where material, CCC eligibility.

16. Photographs and treatment records

Clinical photographs and treatment records may be required for assessment, safety, progress monitoring and continuity of care. They are handled as confidential health information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Use of identifiable photographs, videos or testimonials for public marketing requires separate consent. Declining marketing consent does not affect access to treatment. Consent for future marketing use may be withdrawn by contacting us, although withdrawal does not undo lawful uses already published.

17. Privacy and communications

We collect and handle personal information, health information and tattoo photographs as described in our Privacy Policy. By booking or receiving services, you consent to necessary operational communications by phone, email or SMS about appointments, treatment, safety, payments and your account. Marketing consent is separate and may be withdrawn.

18. Refunds and transfers

Services already provided are generally not refundable unless required by law. Packages and CCC coverage are personal to the named client and nominated tattoo and cannot be transferred to another person. Use at another Think Again Australian clinic is subject to clinical and operational approval. Refund requests, including medically necessary cancellations, are assessed under the applicable written agreement and the Australian Consumer Law.

19. Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers are subject to the conditions supplied at purchase and applicable Australian law. They are not redeemable for cash except where required by law. Statutory minimum expiry periods and consumer rights apply.

20. Website information and third-party services

Website content is general information and is not a substitute for an individual clinical assessment or medical advice. The website may link to third-party services that Think Again does not control. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms.

21. Intellectual property and user content

Website text, images, logos, graphics and software are owned by Think Again or its licensors and are protected by law. They may not be copied, modified or distributed without permission except as permitted by law.

If you submit a review, testimonial or other content, you confirm that you have the right to do so and that it is not unlawful, defamatory or infringing. Any public use remains subject to applicable consent and privacy requirements.

22. Complaints and billing disputes

Please contact info@thinkagainlaserclinic.com.au or 1300 166 465 so we can investigate a treatment, service or billing complaint. Nothing prevents you from exercising external complaint or consumer rights.

For health-service complaints, NSW clients may contact the Health Care Complaints Commission and Queensland clients may contact the Office of the Health Ombudsman.

23. Liability and Australian Consumer Law

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Think Again is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from website use or treatment. This does not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

24. Governing law and severability

For services provided in New South Wales, New South Wales law applies. For services provided in Queensland, Queensland law applies. For matters relating only to website use, New South Wales law applies. The relevant courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to operate.

25. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms prospectively by publishing a new effective date. An update does not retrospectively remove rights or alter an accepted and paid purchase. The terms and specific written conditions in force when a purchase is accepted continue to apply to that purchase unless the parties agree otherwise or the law requires otherwise.
